I am so happy and proud to announce that out of thousands of Nikon Professional photographers Sue and I have been chosen to be featured in the Nikon newsletter which goes out to literally tens of thousands of photographers and interested parties.

I have already had a few messages from pals who received this newsletter which will be going out for a few days now.

Simon and Alie get married @ Northbrook Park

On Sunday we joined Simon and Alia for their wedding at northbrook park which was anything but a normal day, we started our day with Alia and her family at Grooms guest house in Bentley for an hour or so of relaxed informal shots as well as some great details where the sun was shinning, as we were leaving for Northbrook the heavens opened, it rained and rained and rained, well it was wet !!! We had some fun with the boys and guests arriving with brollies when dingies would have been more appropriate until Alia arrived looking spectacular in a very nice BMW 5 coupe. We then went into a traditional civil ceremony but thats where things got interesting, after the ceremony we had a brief Muslin ceremony and a Jewish one where Simon smashed a glass before we all headed outside where thankfully the rain had stopped, we had a couple of hours in the gardens with lots of family groups and some portraits too and soon it was time for Dinner, after the meal we had the speeches where Sue and I got a shout out for our Anniversary, THANKS GUYS and then it was back into the gardens for coffee and the Dj to setup. we then headed into dance which was again a traditional dance and then the Jewish traditional chair dance, such fun !

Tom and Laura get married @ Rhinefield House

On Sunday we photographed our second wedding of the weekend when we joined Tom and Laura for their wedding day, Tom and Laura chose one of our smaller packages so we started our day at the beautiful church on the outskirts of Salisbury with a few shots of the boys whilst we waited for Laura to arrive, soon Laura arrived in a lovely Rolls Royce looking amazing in what can only be described as the most amazing weather, after a lovely church ceremony we had a few shots outside and soon we headed off to rhinefield house which is one of our most popular venues and ideally situated only 17 miles from us.

We all arrived at Rhinefield and headed straight into the grounds for our portraits whilst we waited for the guests to arrive, we had a great walk around and rook some amazing photos in the sunshine, we then took some relazed informal shots and a few family groups and soon it was time to head into dinner and then the speeches, the speeches were great fun thanks to 3 great speakers but the highligh was Russel the Best Man, his speech was amazingthe whole room was in stitches, we then did the cake cutting which is where Sue and I headed home.

The flowers were provided by the lovely Natalie from flowers by design in Highcliffe.

A great day was had by all and I am sure a great evening too,

Neil and Kelly get married @ Minley Manor

We joined Neil and Kelly for their beautiful wedding in minley manor , Sue and I started the day at the frimley hall hotel in Camberley for some preparation shots with Kelly and her girls whilst Dave who is one of our à l’amour photographer met with Neil and the boys at the holy trinity church, We then joined Dave at the Church. After an amazing service we all travelled to Minley Manor where the weather was superb and enjoyed an afternoon on the lawns as well as a few romantic walks for those perfect portrait moments which were coming thick and fast. We then headed on in for Diner and some wonderful dancing before finishing the night with fireworks. all in all a perfect Minley Manor wedding.

We met a couple of great suppliers, the first was allerston taylor and regency carriages who where amazingly helpful and fun to work with and the second where Sean and Jamie from expressive films wedding video, we dont often get excited about videographers but these guys are great.

Neil and Kelly are heading off on a 3 month honeymoon so Safe trip guys

David and Theresa get married @ Rhinefield House

For this amazing wedding we joined David and Theresa at rhinefield house for their day. We started our day with Theresa at home for some lovely relaxed bridal preparations before heading off to the All saints church in Fawley and once there we had an amazing ceremony and then headed to Rhinefield House for what was an amazing November day and we spent all of it out on the lawns with David and Theresa and their guests. We had a great amount of time to not only shoot some amazing relaxed guest shots but also some lovely portraits around Rhinefield House so for us it was the perfect wedding as I am sure it was for Theresa and David. After our portraits and the big group shot we then headed into dinner which was an amazing Roast Beef Yum Yum and then some great speeches followed but a great firework display and dancing.

We had a great day and thanks to our à l’amour photographer Rich for the amazing images.

Ollie and Megan get married @ Beaulieu

We joined Oliver and Megan for their wedding at beaulieu abbey hampshire on what turned out to be a beautiful day. We started our day with Megan at the limewood hotel in Beauleiu for some lovely preperation shots with the girls before heading back to the Montague Arms in Beaulieu to meet Oliver and the boys. Both Limewood and the Montague arms make fine wedding venues in themselves but for this one we were in for a treat.

We then headed into a beautiful Beaulieu Abbey service and afterwards a few photos outside before we left for the short drive to Olivers parents house in Dock Lane where the reception took place, what an amazing place for a wedding, amazing views over the Beaulieu river and sensational grounds made for the perfect wedding venue. The 250 guests were well looked after by our good friends at red herring, Sue and I had a great time talking photos along with our associate à l’amour photographer Rich who also enjoyed his day as he always does.

Ollie and Megan left to get changed in style on a boat along the Beaulieu River, all very classy.

The guests laughed and danced well into the evening to the amazing band 29 fingers and the three of us left after a long but very rewarding day.

Neil and Becky get married @ Lainston House

For this wedding we joined Neil and Rebecca for their amazing wedding at lainston house, When I say amazing I really do mean amazing. It was indeed a very lavish affair with 2 best Men, 7 Ushers, 5 Bridesmaids, 5 flower girls, 1 page boy, 5 vintage wedding cars and a beautiful Horse drawn carriage decorated with the family crest, 3 videographers and us 3 photographers……….

We started our day with Rebecca at her parents house which is in the next road up from us for some relaxed preparation and make up (done by sarah keenan) photos as well as some fun formal photos in the gardens whilst our 3rd photographer Gareth was with Neil and the boys at Neil’s house to cover the lads, We then met at St Edmunds Church on the Avenue for a beautiful full mass service led by our good friend Father Paul followed by confetti on the steps.

We then headed off to lainston house, Neil and Rebecca in the Horse Drawn Carriage and everyone else from the bridal party in the cars, All of the cars were supplied by our very good friend Tony from apollo carriage who we have worked with and featured on our blog many times, his range of cars is simply amazing, I will post the details of the beautiful horses soon but I lost the card.

Waiting for us at Lainston House was the most amazing Marquee and a lovely champagne reception with Italian singers and just the perfect afternoon, we spent a couple of hours wandering around taking formal and informal photos of teh guests enjoying themselves which was particularly good for me because I knew lots of there friends from either past weddings or studio work and from growing up where I did.

We then headed into the wedding breakfast for a fun filled bumper few hours and were entertained by the 3 waiters as well as some great dancing and then speeches and then some more dancing and singing and drinking and cake cutting and wow what a cake it was thanks to ispiration cakes and then the bouquet toss and the find the ring game which is apparently an Italian classic at weddings before we moved onto the first (yeah right) dance which was equally as mad as the rest of the dancing,

All in all it was an amazing wedding and I would like to Neil and Becci for looking after us and a thanks to Gareth for coming along as well.

Ben and Jo get Featured
